Safety barriers are especially created and planned to stop cars from veering off of highways or railroad tracks and onto other types of infrastructure, into pedestrian zones, or into structures.
We planned and produced barrier solutions for the high-speed railway lines using our expertise in reinforced earth structures to stop cars from exiting the highway and colliding with the rails. On these projects, the Duna reinforced soil structure was built over a considerable distance. We manufactured Duna units to be fully pre-assembled in the factory, including the numerous face kinds, because we recognised that ease of installation was a crucial consideration for our clients. This reduced the amount of building work required, saving money and time at the project site.
